Chapter 328: Forgive Me**
After all was said and done, Raine was more than ready to go to bed with her beloved husband. Her father had quickly insisted that he’ll be the one cleaning up, and she could only thank him for giving her some much needed time with her precious mate.
Without any other preamble, the two of them retreated to her room. Entering first, Raine almost laughed as he heard Nathan lock the door behind him.
"So..." she trailed off.
"So..." he responded in kind.
"Are we going to do this or not?" Raine couldn’t help but chuckle as she stared at him with lust filled eyes. "I still have a mission to do. And while I’d like to stay here and chat with you extensively in the privacy of my room, I can’t exactly do that just yet."
"Why not?" Nathan asked with a sultry tone. "Your mission objective is just down the street, right? You can always swing by here for a few hours a day before going back."
Raine bit her lower lip as Nathan closed the distance. Feeling his hand on her shoulder, she gave him a needy look as she led him to the bed.
"I could, but I should at least be professional," Raine giggled as she began to take off her clothes. "I can’t leave her alone, especially with us not knowing when the mutant would strike."
"Then let me help you," Nathan breathed out, his lips already moving down his neck as he positioned himself on top of her. "We can do this together."
