Chapter 233: No Use At All
Old Master Ken was to stay at the hospital for three days while others went on with their daily routines, guarded well by the Ken’s security team whenever they were outside the mansion.
Inside the meeting room, Ryu and the team provided by the Field Marshal were having a discussion with Rita since she knew most of Old Man Skull’s dealings and transactions.
Rita had been with Old Man Skull for a very long time and she knew him very well, she could anticipate his moves and knew his modus operandi hence she helped with the planning and strategy of the whole operation keeping in mind all the possibilities of what could Old Man Skull do and the counter attack measures they should prepare for.
"Right now, I’m sure Mr. Big is eyeing Old Man Skull and with another big blow, he wouldn’t think twice to wipe him out. But he would also wipe out the person behind that blow... Now, Mr. Big must be surely doing his own investigation about grandpa’s work on one of Old Man Skull’s lab because Mr. Big had also lost a lot in that raid." Explained Rita to the team provided by Field Marshal Chan to Ryu.
Arya, who decided to watch and listen, sighed.
’Oh crap... I feel so out of place." She mused as she started to feel bad.
While she listened to the discussion they all were having. She felt helpless and lame, all members of the family were doing their part while she had no important part but listened and watched to them. She had no use at all.
Ryu noticed Arya’s sulky expression so he excused himself and held Arya’s hand as he guided her towards their room.
"Why are we here? You need to go back inside. It’s a crucial moment right now and every second count," Arya murmured, she tried to smile and hide the depression she was feeling for being useless during this time.
