Chapter 221: My Son
Dean let out a long deep sigh as soon as their cars entered their property.
"Whew! That was close!" he whispered. He felt like they were in an action movie because he could notice and observe from how hard the two cars were trying to get closer to Shawn’s car. Their intentions were definitely not good and the men sitting in those cars looked frustrated when they could not get through the security cover for Shawn.
Old Man Skull was obviously desperate to make a daring move as this out in an open area.
He shook his head and grinned. His soft cuddly pillow was really brilliant for knowing beforehand the possible plans of Old Man Skull and his ways to execute it.
’That old man will not be able to get new ideas with that evil brain of his getting that old now... and his brain is now mine already.’ he mused proudly.
Finally, another few more minutes and they were almost near the Ken’s main entrance gate.
Meanwhile, in the other car, in which Shawn was sitting, the bodyguard had noticed the cars from both sides and commented to the driver, "Look at those people, reckless driving like that is the reason why many accidents are happening. Tsk tsk."
Then the cameraman assigned to Shawn got it all recorded. "We are almost near the Ken’s territory, the Chairman said no more recording once they are inside their respective homes," the driver reminded the cameraman who just nodded.
Shawn who was feeling nervous seemed not to care at all with his surroundings... He was feeling very strange. Lost in his emotional roller coaster, he was oblivious to his surroundings.
He inhaled and exhaled several times to relax his nervous soul while they were travelling. He was so engrossed in himself that he did not even notice what was happening outside on the road, involving two cars that were trying to get near his car.
His thoughts were wandering on how he should react once he arrives at the Ken’s Mansion. How should he address everyone? To be honest, everything felt awkward for him.
