Chapter 210: Scandal
Dean started to narrate the story of Cecile and her ordeal. He paused at many points and even felt at loss of words, though Big Bro Ryu had already written everything in the paper provided, but even his emotions were at a roller coaster ride all the way till the end of the story.
Ryu was very emotional and tears almost on the brink of falling many a times while Dean narrated the whole thing, but then he had to be strong...
Even all the housemates were silent. Most of them knew the Kens personally, they could have never imagined that the Lady of the Ken house could have such a traumatic past. This story was actually a kind of revelation, a shocking one, that could break people’s heart.
Almost all housemates were engrossed in the story Dean narrated, even after all others had finished with their stories, they still couldn’t stop exchanging opinions on things after the ’Tell Me Your Story’ challenge.
"Oh... about Dean’s story, that’s too tragic. I can’t believe Ryu’s mom had experienced something like that." Rui murmured. He had a chance to meet Ryu’s mom in parties and he truly admired how well she stood up after those hideous things that came her way. At least, she did obtain the happiness she deserved in the end.
"Yes and she deserves to be happy and have a good life. Thank goodness, Ryu’s dad was always there," Xian added who admired how Mr. Karl Ken had deep feelings for someone who loved someone else deeply. Mr. Karl Ken was a very nice person with a beautiful soul, he was someone who was contented to see the one he loved, live happily with someone else. He was really a great man to be patient with the woman he loved and waited for her till her heart was healed and then marry him finally, because most of the people would not do the same.
"It’s a scandal.. I’m sure once the scene of Dean narrating this story airs on television, the media will harass the Ken household. If I’m Ryu I should have kept something like this between families only. People are scary especially the media, it gives a negative angle to even the best things around and this is all about the past of a prestigious lady of a renowned family. This could be disastrous for their family image and even can have emotional implications on Mrs. Ken due to the media." Gabby commented.
"I think, it will be positive... Only stupid, abnormal and imbecile people will judge the Kens negatively." Denver answered with a heavy voice. He too was shocked but he could not hide his admiration for Ryu’s parents. Dean was right, it was really a great love story and who would have thought that a powerful and big family like the Kens had hidden something like this in their closet...
Ryu and Dean sighed... Gaby was right, this things should be kept by their family alone but probably if the circumstances were a little different and they could easily approach the brother they were trying to bring back with them. A brother, whose existence was unknown even by their mother, who had lived a life full of tortures and hatred... they all wanted to embrace him and give him all the love that he deserved from the first day of his birth...
