Chapter 128: Jealous Husband *
"I’m worried about Denise, I just hope that Lee boy doesn’t do anything to hurt her." Ryu spoke.
They were already in their room. Ryu was leaning on the headboard of the bed and Arya was cuddled in his arms.
"Maybe we’re worrying too much. Shawn is not a bad guy love I have been friends with him and I could attest to that. I’m sure he wouldn’t do anything wrong with Denise." Arya declared in confidence.
Ryu sighed. His expressions changed when he realized that his wife seemed to believe that Shawn was a good person inside in spite of what he had done with Arya, she still believed that.
"I really hate it whenever you defend that man in front of me. I know I shouldn’t but I feel like you’re pricking me with needles straight in my heart..." Ryu said in a low tone, he sounded more like a jealous person.
Arya raised her head that was resting on his chest. She looked at Ryu with an arched eyebrow and said, "Is that Ryu Ken’s jealousy? Don’t tell me you’re still jealous with Shawn. Now when you clearly know he’s just a friend to me and nothing else should you still be this jealous?"
Ryu did not answer but exhaled with annoyance instead.
Then she stared at her husband intently and uttered, "But to tell you frankly love... Shawn and you have many similarities in looks. So much so that most of the people could mistake him to be you at first glance. I haven’t told you how I met Shawn right? Would you believe that I mistook him as you in our first meeting?"
Ryu wrinkled his forehead... "What do you mean," he asked with a confuse tone.
Arya moved to sit up with her legs crossed and faced Ryu.
"That day on the beach resort... after I finished with my routine round of all the departments I felt very lonely. I actually missed you very much... you were always there in my mind and when your memories used to become overwhelming I always went to the beach and took a walk reminiscing our time spent together.. That would give me some relief and energy to keep myself strong."
