Chapter 45: Bringing Out The Best In Him
Upon arrival at the mansion, Ryu quickly prepared Arya’s special dinner.
"You can be a great chef if this continues." Butler Omni commented while he watched Ryu whistle happily while cooking.
"I guess you enjoyed the tour to the extent that you are dancing with joy. I even had to blink several times just to confirm that you are really the child I have raised since birth." He continued jokingly.
If Ryu acted like this at Ken Mansion, all the elder’s jaws would definitely drop, whether in shock or in horror, he was not sure either.
Ryu was always quiet with his family and talked whenever asked a question or if you were the one who approached him first.
The current Ryu he was watching from the moment he stepped foot on the island was like a different person, an improved version, but in a good way.
It seemed like Arya was bringing out the best in him, which no one had seen so far and he was glad that he had the chance to witness that with his own eyes.
Love was really an amazing thing and could move a person in mysterious ways.
The smell of Ryu’s dish was so inviting that Butler Omni was tempted to taste it so he quickly grabbed a plate.
"What are you doing?" Ryu asked when Butler Omni moved beside him with his plate and fork.
"What else? I am going to try your food and let’s see how it taste." Butler Omni answered and was about to dig in when Ryu quickly covered it.
