Chapter 18: Make It Up To You
They walked around Nagoya Castle where the exhibition was interesting and took a pleasant stroll in its garden. Next was at the oldest landmark-Atsuta Shrine, with more than 1900 years history.
The last place they went to was the biggest Japanese Garden-Shirotori Garden, where they stopped for a while to enjoy tea in a traditional tea room.
Arya opened her purse to give Ryu the ticket for their fashion show. Ryu smiled and said, "I was about to purchase one on my own, cause inviting me took you so long. I just thought about surprising you with my grand attendance instead."
He was obviously complaining that she invited him just now.
"It’s still early. You’re just not used to waiting, are you?" She said simply and sipped her green tea with Japanese confectionery.
"Why do you even like me?" Arya suddenly asked out of nowhere.
She still couldn’t believe that Ryu Ken would like her in a short span of time like that. Not that she was saying it’s impossible, but he was Ryu Ken, how come he trusted her so easily and liked her to this point. She was not that dumb and clearly felt his sincerity towards her.
Ryu shrugged his shoulders and said, "Do I need to answer?"
"Don’t answer if you don’t want to," Arya reacted with pouted lips. She remembered the same trending words from him when she asked about his engagement with actress Liza. Just this time, at least, the word ’nonsense’ was not included at the end of his sentence.
