The General Who Hates Me

Chapter 362: At The End Of The Day

Jeru and Zach discussed the matter about the company in the mansion’s main library as soon as Zach was back home.

"It’s so unfair. I thought I’ll be less busy since you will get the upper hand on the family business," Jeru sincerely muttered with a bit of complaint.

Zach laughed and said, "Don’t worry, I will help every once in a while or whenever I’m available."

Jeru heaved a long deep sigh because he knew that he had no choice, but then it was fine because he honestly preferred to manage the business than staying in the military. After taking over a lot of projects, he had started to enjoy doing all that work in the office, with his brain being busy in solving a lot of things concerning the family business especially how he could make it grow and expand further.

Zach felt a quick gentle pat on his shoulders from Jeru while he said, "I’m glad you and Keira are well and safe. I still can’t believe I missed being in action."

"Well at least you did not miss being in action with your wife..." Keira boldly teased Thea on her side as the two wives brought some snacks to their husbands.

She felt Thea elbow her while her face turned deep red. Jeru laughed out hard and looked at Zach. "I think your wife here has that silent protest because you missed a lot being in action with her," Jeru countered at Zach.

Keira raised her brows as she put the fresh fruit drinks on the table and sat beside her husband, she did not even bother to defend herself from Jeru.

Zach looked at her and asked, "For real? You’re in a protest?" Zach did not even wait for Keira to answer and quickly looked at Jeru who was grinning. "Let’s continue this tomorrow. My wife and I need some catching up to do." mumbled Zach who stood up and helped Keira to get up.
