Chapter 340: Pee*
Torin and his mother were comforted by their families and friends as they mourned for days followed by the burial of Torin’s father.
After the burial, Torin and Lyra with his mom headed to the Jang’s residence where Torin and Lyra decided to transfer so that Torin’s mother would not be alone in the big residence. Mrs. Jang also convinced the couple to live with her because that was what Torin’s father had decided prior to his attack. Yes, Torin’s father had missed his son too and wanted to see Torin and his wife but he had a sudden heart attack.
Lyra was feeling uncomfortable all throughout their journey. She was feeling nauseous but tried her best not to show. However, the moment their car stopped at the house, Lyra ran out of the car to vomit.
Torin quickly checked on her. "Are you alright?" he asked as he gently massaged Lyra’s back. Torin’s mother followed with a bottle of water as she asked, "When was your last period?"
"Ohh... I’m delayed by one or two weeks I guess," Lyra answered unsure as she recalled the exact date. She was a bit busy on various things both with family and work matters that she lost track of her period.
"I think you should see a doctor. You might be pregnant my child..." said Mrs. Jang with a sweet and excited tone. Torin was shocked but his eyes shimmered. He lifted Lyra out of the blue. "Oh I’m going to be a father!!! Dad blessed us with a child!" He burst with glee.
"Put me down.... We’re not sure yet so don’t assume anything. You go buy a pregnancy test first at pharmacy and let’s confirm it later at the hospital if the test is positive," Lyra commented laughing, though she was also very excited at the same time and she hoped her mother-in-law was right.
Torin gently put her down like she was a precious porcelain and ran hastily to buy a pregnancy test. Mrs. Jang shook her head as she commented, "Look at that man... We can ask the helper to buy the pregnancy kit. What’s with him running like that?"
Lyra chuckled and she felt her mother-in-law held her hand as they walked inside their house.
Torin finally arrived with different brands of pregnancy test kits and he handed them all to his wife with a broad smile on his face.
"You’re too excited!" Lyra commented with a grin before she entered their bathroom.
