The General Who Hates Me

Chapter 336: Charade

Surprisingly, the weather was nice that day and it was actually a beautiful day so the Liu Family proceeded as planned to go for a picnic.

"This is nice... I see that Grandma heed your advice for fair treatment for all her grandchildren. So far I can feel that she is trying her best that sometimes it looks so awkward that it’s hard for me to keep in the laughter... geez..." Keira commented. Grandma Liu still lack in giving compliments to Thea whenever the latter did satisfying things. However, Grandma Liu avoided to compliment her either even on small things like before.

Keira and Zach were inside their car and were on their way at the most famous park in their city. Meanwhile, Grandma Liu and Senior Liu were together with Thea and Jeru were in one car behind them. Zach and Keira wanted to visit Grandma Terry later, so they drove a separate car.

The park had a vast garden with crisscross and picturesque trails where they could walk past ancient statues and beautiful fountains. They could do a lot of sightseeing, visit museums nearby, swim in the lake or ride bikes and horses.

As soon as they entered the park, they started taking family pictures at every beautiful spot.

Jeru and Zach found a nice spot where they can stay and eat together. Both of them did not let their wives do anything as they took out the food and arranged everything out of their food baskets. "The food looks yummy," commented Senior Liu while he rubbed his stomach.

Old Madam Liu grabbed a plate and put food in it then unconsciously handed it to Zach as she commented, "Here try this. This is the best dish I tried from Thea’s cooking so far." Keira coughed and looked at Grandma Liu with a meaningful gaze then she pointed her lips to Jeru who was fortunately on his mobile phone not far. Thea saw that and she could not help but grin.

Keira was like an alarm clock to their Grandma Liu whenever she would forget to do things fairly. Old Madam Liu twitched her mouth but quickly understood what was Keira was gesturing so she grabbed another plate and put some food for Jeru.

She handed it to Jeru as soon as he came back to his seat, "Here grandson. This one tastes good," said Grandma Liu smiling. Jeru felt happy as he smiled broadly while he accepted the plate and said, "Thank you Grandma."

All of them almost forgot about Senior Liu who was frowning as he complained, "Mother, how come you’re more affectionate to your grandsons than your son?"

Old Madam Liu’s eyes rounded as she scolded, "You should be the one to serve your mother who is sick. Go grab me a plate!"
