Chapter 255: PMS
Jeru had not been himself ever since Thea blurted out her ’I will still like you’ declaration in the car. He had been watching her this whole time, but she was just her usual self again as if she had never said those words. Words that had shaken him to his core. Jeru was hesitant whether he should bring it up.
"Do you need help?" he asked Thea, who was now in the middle of preparing the ingredients for the dishes that she would make. Some recipes had to be made earlier than the others.
"Why? Don’t you have anything else to do? I don’t need any help, but if you want, you can peel and cut this," Thea suggested.
Jeru immediately did what she asked, but it was his first time helping in the kitchen, so he chopped the potatoes sloppily. Thea laughed when she saw the different sizes of sliced potatoes.
She moved closer to his side and grasped his hand with one palm, while her other palm held his other hand to guide him on how to cut it properly.
"Like this... Make sure they have the same sizes as this, okay?" Thea instructed as she tilted her head up sideways to look at Jeru.
And just like that, their eyes met, hypnotizing each other’s souls. A few seconds passed, and as though he was standing in a magnetic field, Jeru’s gaze was drawn to her lips. Things happened so fast, and the next thing Thea saw was of Jeru’s face moving toward hers, while his eyes were still on her lips.
He turned her body to face him, and his lips landed on hers. His hand was cradling the back of her neck as he pulled her in for a deeper kiss, while his other hand began roaming through her curves.
Thea unconsciously let out small sounds and arched her back when she felt his hand reached her bosom. His gentle touches weakened her knees, she had to cling onto his neck to brace herself.
