Chapter 168: Pay The Price
"Where are you wifey?" Zach asked Keira from the other line of the phone. He was going to take a break for a while. He called Keira as soon as he got back his mobile phone to find out where she was, because he badly wanted to go straight to his wife.
"I’m at Nami Island right now to cover the charity event. Tonight is the last day of the event and I will fly back by noon tomorrow. Where are you right now? Are you coming back home? Why are you asking me all this? " asked Keira in a row. An inexplicable excitement suddenly filled her heart hearing her husband’s sexy voice from the other line as she also hoped that Zach would tell her that he was coming back to see her.
She heard Zach chuckle as he said, "Hmm, not yet I’m still stuck with the guys. I was just missing you too much so I sneaked out for a brief call with you."
Then he added, "Why? Is my wife anticipating the every corner honeymoon that we had planned? Don’t worry wifey, I will prepare well and even buy some energy boosters but I don’t think I need any energy boosters though. Just by looking at you I can be energized enough to reach our goal in just one day... and..."
"Stop!" Keira exclaimed as her face turned deep red of embarrassment with Zach’s teasing. It’s a good thing that they were only talking through phone. She heard Zach’s loud laughter from the other end so Keira crumpled her face and with pouted lips she said, "Stop teasing me by reminding every corner of our condo units. You’re not even present in here to fulfill that dream yet, so can you not stop that every corner talk till you come back? Hmp!"
"Alright my moody falling star... But how come I feel that you don’t miss me the way I miss you? Looks like you are too busy to think about me there?" Zach stated in a grieved tone.
"Of course, I miss you my General. Every morning when I wake up the first person i think about is you hubby... I don’t have words to explain the emptiness I feel without you by my side. Come back as soon as possible and I will definitely please you in every possible way, in all the rooms as well as in every corner of our condo units." Whispered in a jest, Keira a bit bashful.
Zach grinned as he quickly said, "I have to go now. I’ll see you soon. I miss you too much..."
Then the call ended. Keira bit her lip as she tried not to cry because of her longing for Zach. Little did she know that Zach immediately drove to the airport to catch the latest flight available to Nami Island.

"Sir, we found a trace of an aphrodisiac drug in your body. This drug is banned in our country because it’s considered as an illegal drug and can be lethal if used in high dosage." Said the doctor on the other line who conducted the test analysis to Jeru’s sample sent back to the City this morning.
As soon as Jeru ended that call, one of his men informed him that they had caught the two waiters responsible for taking him inside that room where Thea was also in last night.
