The General Who Hates Me

Chapter 128: Gone From The Picture

As it was planned, Keira and Zach enjoyed their time together alone while Keira hadn’t started working yet.

This time around, they went for a picnic at one of the best parks near their area where people usually visited because of the nice views.

"What a relaxing place to be on a beautiful day," Keira commented with a smile. As usual, feeling Zach’s warm hand that held hers.

The park was near the shopping district and only twenty minutes away from their building by car.

"It’s said that it’s a 158-years-old tropical rainforest," murmured Zach as they were looking for a nice spot to settle.

It was an urban utopia that offered a peaceful respite from the inner-city activity.

The park’s highlights were the National Orchid Garden which maintained a collection of more than a thousand species and hybrids of orchid trees and the lake where visitors could feed the black swans.

They found a patch of grass that was surrounded by colossal trees from all the sides and decided to settle there.

Keira excitedly got the boxes from their lunch bag that Zach had brought. She knew that everything was prepared by Zach beforehand.

The sandwiches that Zach had prepared looked so tasty. While Keira was drooling all over the food that they had brought, Zach just watched her full of admiration.

It was a sirloin steak sandwiches with smoked relish. Homemade relish and mayo made the prime cut baguette extra special.
