Chapter 105: Blind Date
"Let’s go for a walk?" Cielo said as she was getting prepared her two years old toddler.
She opened the door and was startled to see a man, standing in front of her door.
"Yes?" she murmured, then the man turned around and she almost burst out into a fit of laughter.
"Zach?" she murmured as she tried hard not to laugh because of Zach’s appearance.
"Oh my God, what happened to you. The heck, I almost did not recognize you. Why didn’t you tell me that you were arriving today?" she asked in a row as she let him inside.
She quickly prepared a meal for Zach because she was sure he was hungry, as he came straight to her unit after returning from the mission.
He’s been out for years, hence, he had no food stock at his unit.
"Torin headed straight at the headquarters to report. I look so wasted so I went straight here," Zach answered simply.
Then he smiled at the toddler who held his hand.
"Hello, little one... You are already so big..." he whispered as he pinched the toddler’s nose.
"He just turned two last week. His name is Dice..." she answered as she served Zach his meal.
