Chapter 80: Devil In Disguise
Keira quickly noticed Zach’s arrival. Her face reddened as her heartbeat raced.
’Geez, Keira, calm down please,’ she pleaded inwardly because as Zach was nearing, she felt like she would have a heart attack soon.
"The heck is wrong with your face, Keira? It’s like you’ve been slapped back and forth on both cheeks," May said teasingly.
Keira made face to May as she slightly bowed her head down to avoid any direct eye contact with Zach.
"I really can’t believe how Wolf seems to be taming a sly fox..." May did not stop teasing Keira because her friend’s timidness at that moment was one in a billion to happen.
"Shut up, May! I will give you half of my dinner if you just shut up," whispered Keira irritably as she tried to compose herself and control her blushing.
May laughed and replied, "Alright, I am so easy to deal with, right, friends? Oh, I so enjoy this. I’m so food deprived that I am willing to tease you every now and then."
"Glutton, you’ll soon become one of my apparitions if you don’t stop," teased Keira in return.
May twitched her mouth and said, "It’s better to focus on eating, rather than get sick with too much love. Ewww, it’s like a disease worse than being a glutton."
"Alright, soldiers, get grouped in circles!" shouted Sergeant Park. Drey grouped with Keira and the rest plus other male soldiers near their spot.
They were going to be instructed by skilled and certified close quarter combat instructors that would train them through hours of simulated combat conditions.
