Chapter 327: Vengeance tastes so Sweet (4)
"How dare you!" Green sparks shot towards him, but he moved before the witch raised her hand and saw him move aside. "Our sister!"
That was the leader’s voice, and she looked exactly like her ancestor, who also led the sisters. Killian’s ruby eyes flicked to the other. They were spitting images of them. If it weren’t for their conversation prior, he might have taken them for their ancestors or reborn if that was a thing among witches.
Killian also didn’t know how long witches lived, for they could have been the same. Their powers indicated that they were not the ’real deal’, though. He could kill them with a snap of his finger. All he wanted to do was end their line, though.
"Are you the last of the Salim line?" He enquired quietly, watching the second oldest sister, the bored one he knew, had killed Suzie.
"No," the bored one, one with a pointed nose and pale blue eyes that were almost white. The same as her sisters, navy, almost purple hair that was cut short compared to the others who kept it long. "We made sure to bed and breed."
There was no change in her heart rate to reveal she lied, but Killian remembered the witch she looked the same as also behaved the same.
"Then it looks like I need to go hunting after this then," Killian smiled as though he couldn’t wait to get his hands on these other witches.
Another magic ball blasted towards him from behind. Again, he dodged it and looked behind him, where the floorboards and the walls were starting to go up in flames. Even if they didn’t hit him, they could still kill him with the use of fire.
Killian wasn’t invincible; he was the strongest, sure, but not that powerful. If he was, then he would never have been overpowered by witches and put in a tomb.
