Chapter 310: Intertwined Bodies (1)
Stirring after only a few hours of sleep, Evanna woke to the glimmering lights of the magic around her casting colours across her features and Arawn’s. Arawn, her husband, lay there looking oh so ethereal, his long lashes brushing the top of his cheek. He was far too good-looking for his own good. If he wasn’t always glaring or staring at others like they were wasting his precious time, then many would approach him.
Evanna slowly pushed back a stray hair sliding down his chiselled cheek. She was glad that he wasn’t approachable; it meant she had him all to herself. Oops! Evanna huffed a light giggle. Did she really just think like that?
Arawn’s lips twitched, a sign that he was awake. With his eyes still closed, a smirk drew on his lips. "I hope you are not laughing at my performance. I’ll have you know, you have been asleep for hours," he jested, his arm hooking around Evanna’s waist as he did so.
Evanna giggled again, nipping at the bottom of his ear. That instantly snapped his eyes open, a light groan leaving him. "Evanna... I told you-"
"I know," Evanna breathed, watching him mischievously.
"Oh, ohhh... You cheeky little minx," Arawn grinned wolfishly, sliding over Evanna, his hand gliding down her bare thigh. "You haven’t had enough, I see."
Evanna grinned back, a breathy giggle coming from the back of her throat as her fingers slid along Arawn’s pointed ears, arching her back so her breast brushed against him. "Now I know how much I’ve been missing. I will never have enough with you-"
Arawn’s lips claimed hers, unable to stop himself. The tug on his earlobes, the press of her heated flesh against his, was too much to bear. He was just as eager to continue as she. This woman made him crave every inch of her, and every inch of her would be cherished, that was for certain.
Before he completely lost his mind to her body and soul once more, there was enough sense and restraint in him to pull back and ask, "How do you feel? Is there any pain?"
