Chapter 70: Wavelength
Ivy blinked, her eyes couldn’t believe the scene in front of her. But since it wasn’t the first time and too many anomalies had happened today, she let it go.
"Okay. I forgive you." Her softly sounded like a melody to Henry’s ears. He beamed before getting in the car.
On the way, Silas scooted near Ivy discreetly and held her hand, but this time Ivy pulled away. The wall that had crumbled after so many attempts seemed to have been built again.
Silas could feel it, and his heart tightened. He wanted to hold Ivy in his arms and question her.
Why, after spending such a beautiful moment, did she suddenly turn cold and become distant?
[Host, I advise you to stay away from her for now.] The system’s sudden voice made Silas pause, his brows furrowed.
’What do you mean?’ Silas asked, his tone was hard, and his right hand, hidden from everyone’s view secretly clenched.

’Stop. Get to the point.’ Silas was irritated by the system’s praises. His mind was filled with Ivy and Ivy only. He was scared that, because of this stupid system, something would happen to Ivy.
