Chapter 8: Past And Present - 2
Ivy vented her hatred, frustration, pain, and disappointment by whipping the two couples who had made her life hell in her past life.
She was beyond reason and wanted to kill them right then and there.
Her bloodlust scared Isla so much that she decided to stay silent and hide in a corner.
Yet in her heart, she resented Ivy.
’This b*tch! How can she beat my parents? Once my brother comes back, I will deal with her! Does she think she can get away after beating my parents?’
Isla was clever. She knew that instead of drawing attention, she should stay silent and let the danger pass before coming up with a counterattack.
Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on her side. Ivy soon turned her attention to Isla.
Isla’s heart skipped a beat, and for a brief moment, she wanted to run away. Instead of hesitating, she decided to put action to her thought and ran toward the door and opened it.
However, before she could step out, a hand held her hair and pulled her back inside.
"Ahhh! My hair! My hair! You b*tch! Leave it!" She shouted at the top of her lungs in the hopes of attracting the attention of her neighbors.
Ivy chuckled; it didn’t take her a single brain cell to realize what Isla was thinking.
