My Bratty Wife

Chapter 102 - Hundred And Two

"Doris," Ryan said, his voice filled with determination. "I need your help."

Doris nodded.

"I’ll send a letter to Lady Isabella," she said, her voice low. "I’ll try to convince her to help. I’ll tell her to say something about this situation and to meet us in town at Madame Helena’s tomorrow. Then I’ll tell Milady that Madame Helena has new outfits for her. I know she won’t refuse."

Ryan smiled. "That’s a good idea," he said, his voice filled with approval. "Go ahead and do it."

Doris nodded and left the room, her heart pounding in her chest. Ryan watched her go, a sense of hope filling his heart. He knew that this was a long shot, but it was the only chance he had.

He sat down at his desk, his mind racing. He had to come up with a plan, a way to make Isabella understand the gravity of the situation. He had to convince her to help him.

Doris had written the letter and sent it to Isabella before going to Suzy’s room. As she entered, she spotted Suzy by the window on a chaise longue, engrossed in the book she had been reading for a while now.

As Doris came in, Suzy lifted her head from the book and said, "Doris," her voice soft and tired.

Doris approached her, her eyes filled with concern. "Madame Helena has sent word," she began. "She has new arrivals of outfits, and she says there are a few customized to your taste."

Suzy’s eyes lit up. "Really?" she asked, her voice filled with excitement as she closed the book and dropped it. "Let’s go right away. This place is suffocating me."

Doris hesitated, her eyes filled with worry. "No, Milady, not today, tomorrow." she pleaded. "Madame Helena would need time to sort out the outfits."
