"The cultivation techniques are on the other side. Both of you, please follow me." Wind Grasshopper chimed in at the right moment, breaking the awkward silence between the two. He led them around the bookshelf where the cultivation techniques were stored, turning right seven shelves, and arrived at another bookshelf.

"All the hiding cultivation techniques of our Dragon Palace are here, a total of sixty-nine, most of which are body techniques." Wind Grasshopper looked at Luo Chen and said thoughtfully.

Luo Chen nodded and began to carefully examine these cultivation techniques. He knew that although "cultivation technique" sounds similar, there are significant differences. Cultivation techniques include cultivation methods, skill techniques, and other elements, but beyond these, there are more profound things like Taoism and spells. The cloaking techniques here, however, are mostly basic training routines, merely a few moves, and do not form a complete system.

However, for Luo Chen, these were already sufficient. He didn't need overly profound techniques, only those that would allow him to conceal himself and avoid crisis at critical moments. So, he began selecting among these techniques.

Each cultivation technique emitted a mysterious aura, tempting one to explore further. "I'll choose this one." Luo Chen handed the "Shadow Spell" to Wind Grasshopper and said.

Wind Grasshopper smiled and nodded. He didn't ask any further questions, simply handed the cultivation technique to Luo Chen. To him, although these techniques were precious, since he had decided to give them to Luo Chen and Ouyang Qian, he wouldn't be stingy about anything.

After a long time, Ouyang Qian finally woke from her training. She looked at Luo Chen and saw that he had already chosen a cultivation technique, reading through it intently. Her heart swelled with satisfaction, knowing that her companion had found his path as well. She softly asked, "Cold Rain, did you choose yours?"

Luo Chen raised his head to look at Ouyang Qian, smiling and nodding: "I chose it, this 'Shadow Spell'." As he spoke, he raised the technique in his hand. Seeing this, Ouyang Qian also smiled: "Then next we should choose our treasures." Finishing her words, the two exchanged a glance and laughed heartily together. After choosing their cultivation and body techniques, they began looking forward to the upcoming treasure hunt in the Dragon Palace.

Luo Chen nodded, his gaze sweeping over the bookshelf, overwhelmed by the vast array of cultivation techniques. He knew he didn't understand enough about cultivation techniques yet; finding one that suited him felt like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Seeing Luo Chen's predicament, Ouyang Qian asked, "Dragon Monarch, do you know which cultivation techniques do not require high soul power, allowing Luo Chen to practice at his current level?" She understood that Luo Chen came to seek cloaking techniques to ensure safety in the dangerous Liu Jing, avoiding falling into the hands of monsters like Li Zuo. However, Luo Chen's current level was only at the Flame Realm, and most advanced techniques required corresponding soul power to use. Though the Dragon Palace's library was vast, finding one that fit Luo Chen's cultivation level and could also cloak him seemed challenging.

Wind Grasshopper furrowed his brows slightly upon hearing Ouyang Qian's question. He pondered for a moment, then selected five cultivation techniques from the shelf and handed them to Luo Chen. "These techniques can be practiced by ordinary Qi Cultivation Stage cultivators. However, their ability to cloak might not be very impressive."

Luo Chen took the scrolls and opened them one by one. He found that most of these techniques focused on body techniques, mainly discussing the art of agility, with very few cloaking skills involved.

This matched the prediction made by Ouyang Qian earlier; although the Dragon Palace's techniques were advanced, finding one perfectly meeting their needs wasn't easy.

Ouyang Qian helped with the selection as well. Suddenly, she picked up a scroll, glanced at it, and remarked to Luo Chen: "How about choosing this 'Earth Escape Technique'?" In her view, although Earth Escape Technique primarily focused on escape ability, if used properly, it could also achieve concealing effects to a certain extent.
