Chapter 415: Death God Rain
Now that Rogueheil has returned to the gigant slime’s side, what does he plan to do? He’s almost entirely out of HP and MP. It’s going to be hard for him to buy enough time to recover enough to be able to maintain [Doppelgangers]. Is he going to try and distance himself and escape?
Like I’d let him do that! I have to kill him here, no matter what! If he recovered and went to support the other Three Knights, or attacked me together with the Demon Lord, it would be way too troublesome.
The only reason I'm able to fight him so effectively is because of my information advantage. Rather than standing on the front line himself, his usual tactic would be to produce body doubles from the rear and keep me in check with his Demon Eyes. I was able to deal with it because his fighting partner was a stupid gigant slime, but if he was fighting with the Demon Lord, there would have been no way I could win.
Atop the gigant slime, human only shape alone, Rogueheil crawls on all fours. Intent on buying time, the three trolls stand between me and the gigant slime and prepare to intercept me.
『I can also do this!』
Light shines from the contact between Rogueheil and the gigant slime. The gigant slime evaporates slightly from the point of contact, moistening Rogueheil’s body, and the closed eyes over his body snap open.
It’s [Life Drain]! He’s avoiding using [Autoregeneration] because his MP is low, so he’s using the gigant slime as an HP tank. Damn it, he’s using such underhand tactics… But I suppose this is also proof of how cornered he is.
