"…Are you sure you are ready?" – asked Maparapara as Senge was standing in front of the massive door.

"…Honestly… I don't know." – said Sengen who was visible nervous.

"But still, I have to do it."

"…Then good luck." – said Maparapara as Sengen opened up the door and once again arrived at the temple where she was greeted by the walls which were massive bookshelves filled with countless books.

She walked through the hall of books… Before then arriving at the massive area where there was a table, a chair… And a single person there, reading a book.

"You have came back." – said the being with distorted voice wearing a witch like get up.

The being looked towards Sengen, revealing its empty face.

"I'm back. Book Maker." – said Sengen.

"And let me guess. You want to take on the trial for the third trial?" – said the Book Maker as they put down the book they were reading.

"This time it did took you sometime to come back."

"Were you making your preparations?"

"Yes… I'm ready to take on the trial." – said Sengen who tried to hide her nervousness.

"…"

"Well then, let's begin." – said Book Maker as they snapped their fingers and in the next moment, countless books began being launched from the bookshelves, before then opening in midair and unleashing their pages around.

(This is pretty much a murder mystery type of game.) – thought Sengen as the pages around here were changing the space around here, while also combining and forging a new things.

(The first story I've had to deal with was a mystery about nobleman murder.)

(I failed it… But I knew what it was about, meaning my next attempt should be way easier….)

(However, when I took that trial again, I was provided with completely different mystery.)

(The mystery trials changes each time you take it!)

(So… You cannot rely on stuff you learned during previous trials.) – thought Sengen as the pages disappeared and revealed a brand-new stage.

[Test]

[Find how the victim died.]

Sengen found herself in what appears to be a street filled with several people, two carriages and series of building forming two walls from two different sides.

"…Okay, here we go again." – said Sengen as she walked towards the spot where the few people were looking at something.

However, these people were straight up motionless, as if the time for them had completely stopped.

And the think that those few people were standing at?

A male body on the ground.

A corpse.

"5, 8… 12. Yeah, just 12." – said Sengen as she was looking around and counting how many people were on the map.

"12 suspects."

"I want a replay of the suspects death." – said Sengen as a see-through 3D image of the victim had appeared.

However, it didn't appeared in the spot where the victim was, but he was sitting in what appears to be a bar.

(In this test your skills are restricted, but you gain special test feature ability.)

(One is reply that shows the victims 5 last minutes of life.)

The copy of the man seemingly was drinking something, but the reply wasn't showing what.

The man reached for his pocket and put something on the table, before then getting up and starting to walk forward and taking out something yet again from his pocket, which he held in his palm and looked down on it, before then putting it right back to his pocket.

However, right after he had put down away whatever he held for short period of time, he looked annoyed and started shouting at somebody while flipping them off.

The man continued Before then bumping into someone, but ignoring whoever they bumped into and continuing walking… Before then arriving at the spot where he had died.

Once the man arrived there, he suddenly stopped moving, before moments later his head suddenly tiled forward and the man fell down, landing on the ground in the same position as the corpse, finishing the story of the victim.

"…"

"…That is, it?" – said Sengen.

"Fuck."

(He suddenly just fell down and died!?)

(Fuck me! In the first trial I could at least tell from the reply and checking out the corpse that the victim died because his throat was slit!)

(But this?!)

(What the fuck?!)

"…"

"No. Calm down."

"They wouldn't give you that if it wasn't unsolvable."

(First thing first. Victim. How did he died?) – thought Sengen as she approached the corpse.

"[Show Information Display]." – said Sengen as in the next moment a system window appeared near the corpse.

"Victim: Joe The Gambler."

"32 years old."

"A gambler who almost all the times wins to the point people are often unwilling to play with him, causing him to often hide his identity in order to play any gambling games."

"Enjoys drinking in the middle of the day and enjoys hording his wealth in order to show off his superiority."

(So a scum gambler type.)

(I guess he may had owned some money or maybe he pissed off somebody off by winning a game or two and stealing the culprit's money?)

(This may had been a motive.)

(But first thing first, how exactly did they died?)

"Reply once again." – said Sengen as the copy of the victim once again appeared and started doing the same thing as before.

However, Sengen speed up the process with one of the buttons she had and used another button to stop the projection as it arrived at the spot where it would stop walking.

"Victim walked normally without any problem or anything like that." – said Sengen to herself as she played the play button and then stop button, causing the copy of the victim to stop at the moment where it stopped walking.

"He stopped walking in this moment, but why?" – Sengen pressed the play, causing the copy of the victim to tilde its head down and once again fall and merge with the victim.

"Something must had happened here." – Sengen played the rewind button, causing the copy to move in backward motion and then stopped the copy when it was once again in the spot where it was about to reach the stop point.

"Something happened here, before he stopped… Something made him." – said Sengen as she walked towards the victim and observed its pissed expression and noticing a surprise on its face.

Sengen rewind even more, causing the surprise expression to disappear and making the copy make a bit annoyed expression, before then pressing play button once again, causing the copy to move forward, which made him the surprised expression extremely suddenly.

Sengen instantly stopped the reply.

"In this moment something happened to him."

"But what exactly?" – said Sengen as she looked at the corpse and began inspecting it.

(You are limited to what you can do in this trial, however, you can do the full autopsy of the victim… But you need to do that by hand.) – thought Sengen as she took off the shirt that the victim was wearing.

"?"

"!"

And the moment she did, she saw it.

A veins of the victim which were sticking out from underneath the skin, as if these veins were trying to break out.

And the weird purple color veins underneath the skin that were on the chest of the victim.
