Chapter 520: S3 Canadian Grand Prix. 6
Five races into the season, and the reigning world champion, Antonio Luigi, remained winless. This outcome had started to feel more like a scar. For a driver of his calibre, this was uncharted territory, and the pressure was suffocating him.
Luca and Ailbeart, his core rivals, had seized their spotlights so far, with three and two P1 finishes respectively over these five rounds. They had begun to carve an impressive campaign, while Luigi was yet to see and climb the top step of the podium.
Three podiums for the great Italian, and two pole positions earned so far. But no P1 for the Black Dread when the chequered flag dropped. A lot of expectations were draped on Luigi, and he’d be damned to go through another Grand Prix without being the victor.
