Chapter 1069: Vampire Domain

Thousands of kilometres away from Anthony’s current location, at the Vampire Domain, various Vampires could be seen going about their daily lives, most possessing red hair or red eyes, some possessing both traits, each of them having fangs that extended out from their lips, their skin pale as they walked under the sunlight with an eerie elegance that set them apart from ordinary beings.

Kilometres deep into the Vampire Domain was the Blood Castle, the castle where the ruling family of the Vampire Domain resided, the Blood Queen and her son, Drake Bloodmoon, a place that stood as a symbol of authority, power, and absolute dominance over all who lived within the Domain.

At this moment, Drake Bloodmoon could be seen sitting in a lotus position, half immersed within a pool of purple blood which emitted an intense purple light, his eyes closed as he focused intently on whatever he was doing or trying to achieve, his breathing calm and measured, as though each second was carefully controlled. A few minutes later, the purple light vanished as the training chamber he was within returned to its dimly lit state, the oppressive aura fading into stillness.

Without wasting a single second, he rose to his feet, his body completely naked, his physique chiseled to near perfection, his skin pale and smooth, the blood splashing slightly below him as he stepped out of the bathtub-like structure. The purple blood that clung to his skin lifted off and returned to the pool he had just left, as though it possessed a will of its own, obeying him without resistance.

The next instant, a butler appeared beside him and handed him his clothes, which he put on without another word, his movements calm, refined, and practiced. Together, they walked out as they headed toward his room, their footsteps echoing faintly through the grand halls of the castle.

Entering his room, Drake stood by the window as he spoke, "what is Tiara doing now?"

The butler replied immediately with a respectful tone, "Lady Tiara isn’t within the Vampire Domain; she had left earlier on an urgent matter," the butler stated, his posture straight and unwavering.

Drake stayed silent for a moment, ’How long do I have to play nice with that stupid child?’ he thought to himself, his thoughts directed at Tiara. ’I have better things to do, for crying out loud, five years, five years, and she didn’t even glance my way. What’s her heart made of, stone?’ he thought to himself once more, yet his face remained completely expressionless, betraying none of the irritation festering within him.

’I should just rape her and be done with it. How did her lowly parents even give birth to a Royal Grade Bloodline? That’s the greatest mystery of this Domain,’ he shook his head with a sigh, choosing to momentarily forget about her. Whatever she was doing at the moment had nothing to do with him, or at least that was what he told himself.

"Prepare the next batch of gifts that I will be giving her for the year," Drake ordered, his blood-red eyes still fixed on the window as he gazed down upon the Vampire Domain from his elevated position, his tone calm yet laced with impatience.

The next moment, a knock resounded on the door; Drake didn’t acknowledge it, and the butler simply walked toward the door to see what was happening. A few moments later, the butler returned and spoke, "Master, the Blood Queen demands your presence."

Drake’s eyes tore away from the view before him as he turned and began heading toward his mother’s throne room. Before long, he was standing before her with a calm expression as he asked, "why have you called, Mother?"

Elara stared at her son for a moment, then asked with a sigh, "how is your relationship with Tiara going? Any results? No matter how small the news is, it’s still progress," she asked, as she usually did this every six months, checking up on both her son and Tiara.

"It’s the same as always, Mother, and I’ve told you, I should just rape her and be done with it," Drake stated with an impatient tone, as he was tired of all the forced attention and futile attempts.

"And I’ve told you we can’t do that, for reasons you already know," Elara stated firmly.

"Then we make her sign a mana contract and be done with it," Drake countered, his patience thinning.

Elara sighed once more as she spoke, "you are simply too naive, Drake," she shook her head, as though she couldn’t be bothered to explain something that, to her, should have been obvious.

"But that isn’t the reason I called you here. I’m sure you know Tiara isn’t in the Vampire Domain; at this moment, she is with Null Anthony, who is her former classmate, and I want you to go there and meet him," Elara stated with a flat expression, her tone carrying quiet authority.

"The Null Anthony? The one who can resurrect people and reached the Planetary level by nineteen years of age?" Drake asked, a hint of interest appearing in his voice.

"Yes, that Null Anthony, and according to recent news, he now possesses the ability to bestow blessings upon people that allow them to break through multiple mana ranks and levels without any backlash or side effects," Elara stated, as she had seen the circulating reports of Anthony bestowing blessings. It was unbelievable, yet someone like Elara knew that the galaxy was vast and filled with countless unknown possibilities.

Drake didn’t need his mother to spell it out for him; he knew that she wanted him to establish a connection and receive the so-called blessing. ’I didn’t even know Tiara knew him,’ he thought to himself, a flicker of curiosity surfacing.

"Don’t disappoint me. For all we know, Tiara could already be receiving her own blessing, and also, she and Anthony are currently with the Dragon Crowned Prince and the Titan Crowned Prince, so mind how you speak, especially around Anthony," Elara stated once more, her gaze sharp.

"I understand," Drake stated as his mind began to spin with thoughts and possibilities.

"You may leave," Elara stated flatly, her own mind already moving through countless calculations and scenarios.

Drake turned to walk away, but before the moment he took a step, he suddenly stopped. He felt his chest tighten, his hand immediately moving toward his chest as he clutched it tightly, unable to understand why his heart rate was rapidly dropping.

Elara stared at her son, wondering why he had suddenly stopped, but before she could speak, Drake dropped to his knees, then fell face-first against the floor... dead.

Elara’s body blurred forward as she caught her son within her embrace; she called out his name as she shook him gently, as though trying to wake him from a deep sleep, but she already knew that Drake was dead. She had felt the bloodline connection between them being severed, a sensation that could not be mistaken or denied.

"WHO DARES KILL MY SON!!!!" she roared at the top of her lungs as a blood-red presence erupted from her body in an annihilating wave of force and madness, shaking the Vampire Domain to its very foundation and core, as her grief and fury fused into something terrifying beyond measure.
