Chapter 119: Alcoholic Night
On the yacht, the conversation between Li Jing and Ge Qin gradually opened up.
It might be due to the alcohol, or maybe because Ge Qin had let go of some of her internal insecurities, the atmosphere between the two slowly became relaxed and natural.
"Li Jing, thank you."
Ge Qin’s cheeks had gained a few hints of blush due to excessive alcohol consumption. Her eyes gradually turned hazy as she looked at Li Jing’s face, raising her glass, slightly tilting her head and smiling: "Thank you for not looking down on me, thank you for making my time in Celestial Sea City so enjoyable."
Perhaps because of the blush, or maybe due to the change in gaze, Li Jing felt that her looks had gained a few more charms in this state, especially with the reddening of her skin extending below her neck, adding a sense of allure she didn’t originally possess.
Li Jing admired her figure and looks, then smiled, raised his bottle and clinked glasses with her, reminding: "You’ve already had quite a bit. After this glass, don’t drink anymore."
"No, it’s okay... I can drink."
With that said, Ge Qin tipped her head back and finished the drink in her glass, then refilled it, trying to sit up straight. She looked at Li Jing and raised her glass again: "I still want to thank you, thank you for helping me see myself more clearly, safeguarding my dignity... yet helping me recognize reality."
This time, before Li Jing could respond, Ge Qin tipped her head back again and finished the drink.
The pale yellow beer liquid overflowed from her rosy lips, slid down her fair yet somewhat red skin, finally trickling into the mysterious valley below.
Catching her breath, Ge Qin refilled her beer once more, swayed and stood up, continuing to speak to Li Jing: "Lastly, I want to thank you, thank you for giving me..."
"Alright."
