"Art ultimately returns to simplicity; my preference is the most instinctive and simple reaction of humankind, okay?"
Li Jing caught the flying material pack with one hand and quickly raised the other when he saw the other person about to throw more: "You can’t just allow your lofty pursuits and not let me enjoy the common folk’s art, right?"
"What you have is not common folk’s art; clearly, it’s just being lecherous and sleazy!"
He Mo glared at him displeasedly, stopping only because there was nothing left on the table to throw.
Glancing at the mess on the floor, Li Jing shrugged helplessly: "If you want to have a proper chat, let’s have a proper chat. Why throw things around and make your room so messy?"
"So what if it’s messy? I don’t mind. As long as it’s not dirty, a bit of mess is actually more comfortable."
He Mo lost interest in continuing with her crafts and leaned back against the chair: "I don’t like having the house tidied up like it’s a hotel; it doesn’t feel lived in."
Li Jing realized that she was indeed carefree, especially compared to An Tong; their differences were stark, indicating their contrasting personalities and values.
As he gazed at her, Li Jing’s eyes shifted slightly, noticing two small protrusions on He Mo’s loose, comfortable light-colored clothes, which made his eyebrows gradually arch:
"He Mo, I noticed two really great aspects of your outfit today."
"You actually notice how people dress?"
