No Trespassing! My Aloof Brother

Chapter 275 - 273: I Can’t Handle It [3rd Update]

"Maya, opportunities don’t come every day, remember to treasure them." Liam’s gaze was gentle, yet his words carried deeper meanings.

Listening to those profound words, Maya took a deep breath, feeling an inexplicable tension in her heart. She wasn’t naive; she could feel that Liam wasn’t referring to a chance for intimacy but was hinting at what happened with the phone earlier. He was subconsciously telling her that he knew what she wanted to do.

Even though Maya understood Liam’s underlying meaning, she wasn’t foolish enough to confess to him naively.

So, she merely pulled Liam’s large hand off of herself, pouting with a frown, "I couldn’t care less to treasure it."

The man looked at her guilty expression and smiled, saying, "Opportunities in the office aren’t that common."

"Hmm..." Maya murmured softly, her face reddening, "What if someone comes in?"

Liam looked at the girl’s reluctant expression, staring directly into her evasive eyes, his smile mysterious and charming.

He knew she wouldn’t reject him, probably even hoping he’d quickly fall into her gentle vortex and forget about the phone incident. Thus, he didn’t hold back, nor did he care about her feigned modesty, and indulged her.

When both were deeply engrossed, the office door suddenly rang, and Maya’s eyes widened abruptly, her hands pressed gently against his chest, panting, "No way, someone’s here..."

"Focus..." Liam noticed her glance at the door and tapped her, saying.

Even though Maya knew that without Liam’s permission, no one would dare barge in, she was still nervous, unable to calm down, with only the "knock knock knock" of the door in her mind.

After a moment, the knocking stopped, and Maya took a deep breath, clasping Liam’s neck tightly, her small face resting on his shoulder, panting incessantly.

"Creak." At this moment, the office door was suddenly pushed open by someone, but Maya, lost in her haze, didn’t react at all, leaning against Liam and humming softly.

Liam, facing the door, saw the woman who entered and suddenly stopped all actions, glaring angrily at the stunned woman at the door.

At the door, Lydia Jones was completely dumbfounded by the scene before her. She hadn’t expected Liam to do something so indecent in the office in broad daylight.

Though Maya’s clothes were tidy, seeing her leaning on Liam and hearing the ambiguous sounds from her mouth, she understood everything.

She looked at Liam’s angry gaze, at his disdain, her eyes turning red abruptly.

She originally thought Liam kept this shameless woman around to interrogate her about stealing company data but unexpectedly he kept her to indulge his lust.

What shocked her even more was that even after she broke in on them, Liam hadn’t let Maya go or disturbed her.

At this moment, Lydia felt Liam’s affection for Maya. She’d never seen Liam treat her sister so kindly before.

"Liam, what’s wrong?" The man suddenly paused, and Maya, at this moment, finally supported herself on his chest, half-squinting her eyes, asking.

Listening to the girl’s voice, Liam hurriedly extended his large hand to hold her nape, pressing her small face against his shoulder, saying, "It’s nothing."

He didn’t disturb Maya, fearing to scare her. Thankfully, the desk shielded them, not allowing Lydia to see anything significant.

At this point, Lydia was nearly at breaking point. She wanted to step forward, yank Maya away and scold her as a shameless vixen, then tear her face apart.

But seeing Liam’s charming smile, his utter disdain for her, she didn’t have the courage to get inside, hence she held her breath, quickly turned around, and slammed the door shut.

Maya heard the door shutting and froze in fear, immediately sitting upright, staring directly at Liam, with tightly furrowed brows asking, "Did someone just come in??"

At this moment, Maya exploded, raising her small hand for a slap on Liam’s face, shouting furiously, "Let me go."

Despite having been intimate with Liam numerous times, she wasn’t in the mood for a live show in front of others, and she was more furious that Liam didn’t inform her. Maya’s mind was about to explode.

Liam, looking at the furious girl, couldn’t hide the smile at the corner of his mouth, more unwilling to let her go.

Maya, watching the shameless man’s demeanor, felt speechless. She couldn’t imagine how, after being interrupted, he could continue like this; his mental resilience was remarkable!

Observing the man’s calmness, Maya’s inner panic subsided somewhat. She took a deep breath, stared into his eyes, and asked, "Who came just now?"

"Lydia." Liam replied indifferently.

Hearing the name Lydia, Maya’s frightened face suddenly showed a sarcastic smile, thinking how fate plays tricks. For her to encounter this, was it lucky or unlucky?

Liam, seeing the sarcastic smile on her face, let her go.

In the office, Maya tidied her clothes, grabbed her phone hiding the evidence, and left.

Watching the girl’s departing figure, Liam raised his right hand to his lips, wiping them, smiling mysteriously.

Meanwhile, in the Owen Clan Group’s underground parking lot, Lydia was wiping tears while starting her vehicle.

Before the incident, she still had confidence in competing against Maya, but after witnessing Liam’s support for her, her confidence was shattered, not a trace remaining. She had no assurance of replacing her elder sister nor of driving Maya away...

At this point, she was lost, finding no means to deal with Maya, so she went to seek Charlotte Owen’s help...

In the VIP suite of the beauty salon, Charlotte Owen was receiving a body massage. Seeing Charlotte enter, she dismissed the technician, unabashedly standing up from the bed, wrapping herself in a towel in front of Lydia.

Lydia looked at Charlotte’s excellent figure and delicate skin, swallowing involuntarily, thinking, Aunt Charlotte is so good, how come she hasn’t gotten married?

Charlotte observing Lydia’s gaze, slightly tilted up the corner of her mouth, smiling asked, "Facing a difficult situation??"

Listening to Charlotte’s query, Lydia snapped back to reality, nodding, saying, "Aunt Charlotte, I can’t handle Maya. Liam seems to really like her."
