Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Kinsley’s voice sounded outside.
Hearing the voice outside, Maya’s breath stopped instantly as she leaned against Liam’s embrace, remaining motionless, and pushed her body back a bit.
Liam noticed the girl’s reaction and his lips curled slightly.
"Hmm..." she protested softly, reminding him to know when to stop.
The more nervous and scared she was, the more balanced Liam felt inside.
Finally, Maya was helpless; she compromised, stopped struggling, closed her eyes, and ignored the knocking outside.
The man watched her concession and mischievously turned her over, lifted her up, and asked, "In this state, would you dare to open the door?"
"Liam, are you crazy? It’s broad daylight, we’re at home."
"Wasn’t our first time also at home?"
"What exactly do you want?"
