"This is a school of Ghost Head Knife Fish, quite rare. Although these fish aren’t very big, they have decent strength. Let’s warm up at this spot first today then go for the big guys."
After the fishing boat stopped, Lin Yang told everyone and started the first fishing session of the day.
He had fished for Ghost Head Knife before, and the feel was very good.
However, today they were experiencing a whole new kind of fishing, sitting on a fishing boat which was more convenient than fishing from a larger vessel.
The fish were visibly swimming around in the upper layer of the seawater; there was no need to fish blindly like a cat chasing after mice. Just throwing the bait near the fish was enough.
Moreover, these were purely wild, natural fish, not like those bred in fishponds where the visible fish hardly ever bite, incomparable.
Speedily everyone prepared their fishing gear and started getting ready to fish on the boat.
Today, they were aboard a roughly twelve-meter fishing boat, which, along with five tourists from home, Lin Yang’s group of three, a local guide, and the captain, made a total of ten people. There was plenty of space, even if everyone fished at the same time.
The larger fish in the sea, which were generally aggressive and have strong predatory instincts, could mostly be caught using artificial baits.
