Seeing the comment above, Lin Yang laughed and nodded, "Indeed, Emperor Crabs are deep-sea creatures, but depth is not a necessary condition for them. Their survival mainly depends on water temperature and food. With a temperature of around 2-5 degrees Celsius, they can live and reproduce normally.
The latitude here near Soviet Port is quite high, so in August, Kubi River water is only about ten degrees, and by the seashore, the water is even colder, making it incredibly suitable for Emperor Crab’s breeding. Additionally, since there’s little human activity and commercial fishing is scarce, the density here is quite high.
