Their fertilized eggs will develop inside the mother’s body, and once they’ve matured, individuals that have hatched will be born directly as babies.

Most of the devil fish appeared quite stable as they skimmed out of the water and would land belly-first. However, after being agitated by the drone, some devil fish had a harder time, splashing water as they landed on their backs and others unable to control their posture, tumbling after emerging from the water, nearly crashing into their fellow species.
