For instance, White Fish, Mai Sui, and Pangpi, these small miscellaneous fish that are especially easy to catch, each only score 0.1 or 0.2 points.

To score a single point, one must catch many such fish, which is very inefficient.

While Crucian Carp scores 0.5 points each, Carp and Grass Carp each score 1 point, even a Catfish is just 2 points... And huge Breams weighing dozens or even hundreds of pounds, surprisingly, only score 3 points.

The scoring table also includes some fish unique to Yunnan Province or other less common fish, which score much higher.

For example, the Seven-star fish, touted as the living fossil among fish, is quite a rare species. Although small in size, catching one is worth 5 points.

Then there is a fish called Big Head Carp, very similar to the Carp in appearance, but with a much bigger head. This species is also unique to Yunnan Province and is found nowhere else.

A Big Head Carp is also worth 5 points, equivalent to five regular Carps.

But in this scoring chart, there are four fish that hold the highest value, their names listed at the very bottom.
