"Everyone, look at the mouth of this large crucian carp. It’s as big as a silver carp’s, almost as large as my fist. I will now remove the hook for it."
Lin Yang followed the fishing line all the way to the fish’s mouth. The hook, which looked large outside of the water, seemed like a miniature version compared to the fish’s mouth. Luckily, he didn’t use a hook with barbs, making it easy to remove.
After removing the hook, in practice, the fish was technically free, but it was entirely drained of energy at this point and couldn’t escape immediately. The plump fish continued to float on the water’s surface, with its gills barely moving.
After the removal of the hook, Lin Yang used his arms to lift the fish slightly, but it was too heavy. He could only lift about a third of its shape; the fish’s head was almost bigger than a human’s, providing a visually impressive sight.
