Just then, Yue’er’s voice rang out, "Oh, Brother Yang, I think I’ve got a fish too!" She was seen holding her 3.6-meter short fishing rod, excitedly lifting it up.

Soon, a Tilapia weighing close to a jin was pulled up out of the water by her.

Seeing the fish flapping wildly on the water’s surface, Lin Yang smoothly grabbed the landing net from nearby and helped her net the fish.

"Not bad, Yue’er, you caught a big one on your first try, and now out of all the fish, yours is the biggest."

"Haha, really? The feeling of catching that fish was just too great." Yue’er laughed and seemed very happy.

Lin Yang helped her unhook the fish and place it into the keepnet.

A Tilapia over a jin can be tricky to handle when it spreads its fins – they can easily prick your hand if you’re not careful.

Seeing Lin Yang and Yue’er successively catching fish, Li Xiaopeng was utterly sour. Even a rookie female angler was catching fish - where was the justice in that?

Glancing at his own motionless float, he started to feel a sense of helplessness and, a bit petulantly, he picked up the can of bait next to him. He had planned to use half a basin of bait gradually for topping up, but in a huff, he dumped it all into the feeding area in one go.
