Chapter 154 - 130: Spirited Young Man
Lin Yang’s words had barely ended when four grape-sized fish bubbles floated up from the edge of his baited spot.
"Damn, we’ve got fish at the bait spot, everyone see those bubbles?" His voice lowered slightly as he pointed out the location on the water’s surface where bubbles had just appeared.
"Bubbles that big, the fish must be of a decent size, be careful, streamer."
"Watch out, the BMW is coming."
Lin Yang slowly raised the rod, replaced it with fresh bait, and cast it out again.
Previously, in order to fish the original pond, he had been fishing around the edge of the bait spot; it didn’t really matter if the double hook dropped a little too full, given the thickness of his line setup.
But the same strategy simply wouldn’t work when fishing for the big ones; as mentioned before, casting a full rod could easily lead to a tug-of-war and the line being cut, resulting in the fish running away—Lin Yang wouldn’t make such a basic mistake.
For the next cast, he obediently cast to the 8/10th mark of the bait spot, the normal fishing position. The temptation of the fresh bait and rubber band granules was definitely stronger than the soaked and dissolving bait in the spot, and with patience, he was sure to get a bite.
In the following five minutes, Lin Yang didn’t dare to breathe loudly, nor did he interact with the stream’s viewers anymore, but instead stared fixedly at the float’s movements. However, the big fish underwater simply wouldn’t take the bait, and this was indeed a bit frustrating.
