Chapter 67 - 066: Meeting Zhang Qiang Again
Leaving the courtyard and bidding farewell to Uncle and the fellow villagers, Lin Yang and Wang Feng also went their separate ways after getting off the highway.
He drove directly back to Qingyang Town, while Wang Feng and the others headed back to the city district.
Half an hour later, Lin Yang arrived home.
As soon as he parked the car, he shouted toward his house, "Mom, come out and get the stuff!"
"What stuff? It’s not more fish, is it? Our fridge can’t fit any more." Hearing his call, Mrs. Lin came out of the courtyard somewhat resignedly and said to Lin Yang.
"It’s not fish, it’s some real good stuff, I couldn’t be bothered to bring the fish back." Lin Yang replied.
Old Lin, hearing the commotion, also washed his hands and then came out from the yard.
Seeing the old couple emerge, Lin Yang opened the back seat of the car, as he really didn’t want to put these ingredients in the trunk with the fishing gear, to avoid mixing the smells, so he had placed them on the back seat instead.
"Son, where did you go? Did you go on a looting spree like a bandit?"
Old Lin was baffled looking at the edibles on Lin Yang’s back seat.
The older couple were both native country folks, and even though the ingredients had already been processed, they knew at a glance that these goods were authentic local products from the countryside.
