On the other side of the city wall, three boys placed their bags on a carriage.
Viros and Luca, who were tagging along with Akamir, had an excited look on their faces.
Viros adjusted the straps of his travel cloak and grinned. "Finally! I was starting to think you’d change your mind."
Akamir, standing beside the carriage with his arms crossed, raised an eyebrow. "Why would I do that?"
"I don’t know." He replied, shrugging. "Maybe because you are Royal Consort and a Duke."
Akamir chuckled as he shook his head.
Yesterday, when he talked with Mira, he had also talked about the Duke matter.
Despite the clear dissatisfaction from the extra work, Mira did say no to him.
That did make Akamir a little sad about her, but he still gave her all the rights as the Duke.
