'No matter how I think about it....this is creepy as hell.'
Akamir mused, leaning back on the chair.
The cold air of the room was still thick with the scent of fresh blood.
Elore was gone, his screams now a memory, and in his place knelt a flawless imitation.
The Mimicker, draped in priestly robes, had taken on Elore's features perfectly.
From the weary lines around his eyes to the subtle scar near his temple, nothing was out of place.
Only the blank, hollow look in its eyes betrayed that it wasn't human.
It bowed its head lower before Akamir.
"Orders, my master," the Mimicker said in Elore's voice...eerily calm, devoid of the usual arrogance.
'He looks and feels exactly like Elore.'
Akamir thought, glancing at Nayomi who floated beside him.
