Chapter 37: Watch out!
The leader’s sword sliced through the air, aiming directly at Zhao Yan.
He was holding the sword with so much strength that his hand veins bulged to the point where they almost looked like they would burst!
His gaze was also very hateful and if looks could kill, this gaze alone could have ended Zhao Yan already!
The sword came flying down at record speed.

Zhao Yan instinctively shoved Hua Jing to the side, sending her tumbling into a mound of snow.
She landed unceremoniously, a burst of cold seeping into her robes as she glared up at Zhao Yan, who was now narrowly evading the deadly blade.
"Are you trying to get yourself killed?" she shouted angrily, her voice rising above the clashing of metal and the grunts of exertion.
She gazed at Zhao Yan hatefully. His hands were charred yet he was still trying to put on the brave act just to protect her!
Did she even tell him she wanted to be protected?
The leader snarled as his missed strike embedded the sword into the snow. He yanked it out forcefully, his face contorted with fury.
