Riven’s palms brushed over the soft curve of Eli’s ears.
Eli shivered, a tiny gasp escaping against Riven’s lips as his ears twitched beneath Riven’s fingertips.
Riven pulled back just enough to look at him, still smiling.
"You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to touch these," he murmured, voice low and warm.
Eli’s eyes fluttered open, reality crashing in as he realised Riven’s fingers gently brushed against his sensitive bunny ears. A rush of warmth flooded through him, and he pulled away from the kiss, a thin strand of saliva connecting their lips for just a moment longer.
His gaze, slightly dazed, locked onto Riven’s, where a mix of mischief and concern danced in the depths of those captivating eyes.
Eli shifted, trying to go back to his seat, but Riven’s hands were firm around his waist, anchoring him down. "Don’t run away," Riven murmured, his voice a smooth whisper that sent shivers down Eli’s spine.
Eli’s heart raced, his mind scrambling to process the whirlwind of emotions swirling between them. "I didn’t intend to," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. His hands hovered uncertainly on Riven’s shoulders, as if he were torn between pushing himself free or pulling Riven back into another kiss.
Riven studied him, eyes softening as he recognised the conflict within Eli.
Riven was quiet for a moment. He seemed to be searching Eli’s expression for something—fear, regret, maybe even disgust. But all he found was uncertainty and longing, stitched together with a thin thread of guilt.
