Chapter 236: A Rush
He swiftly locked the door, the click of the bolt giving him some relief, no one was going to interrupt them. He might not remember at the moment that doors could always be broken down.
He leaned against the door for a moment, catching his breath.
He was no fool, he understood why Troy had been outside his room, looming like a guardian. "For your safety," he’d said. But Riven knew that wasn’t the full truth.

Riven gasped as he was yanked onto the bed, the world around him tilting as he landed against Soren’s solid form. Before he could process anything, Soren captured his lips with a heat that took Riven by surprise.
The kiss was raw and demanding, igniting every nerve ending within Riven. Soren’s tongue slipped between his lips, boldly exploring, as Riven instinctively responded, matching the energy and urgency Soren felt.
