Help! I Became A Guy In A BL Novel!

Chapter 143: Obedient

Kael’s jaw clenched, his silver brows drawing low over his eyes. "Watch your tone," he said, voice tight. "You cannot just order them, they are the respected elders-"

"Why are you taking their so much, where does your loyalty lie? Tsk tsk." Riven pouted and looked at Ronan, "Why are your subordinates traitors?"

"You-"

"Enough."

It wasn’t loud, but it didn’t need to be. The authority in that single word was absolute.

Kael froze mid-step. Riven looked back at Ronan with barely concealed delight, his ears twitching.

Ronan slowly rose from the chair, his arm brushing past Riven’s waist as he moved, a casual gesture that was still strangely possessive. He stood tall, expression unreadable, but his aura had shifted, steadier, colder.

"Like he said. If that elder wants to stay here and throw a tantrum... Thow. Him. Out." Riven’s words finally gave him the push to take control of the situation. He decided to reduce the elder’s influence, he should not be a pushover, and he could not backtrack now.

Kael’s face twisted briefly into something unreadable—shock, dismay, pride swallowed by duty—before he bowed stiffly. "Understood, my lord." He seemed to support the elders more than Ronan. He did not trust this Alpha, he seemed too weak in his opinion. Maybe he should tip the elders off.

Kael hesitated before repeating to confirm. He just hoped Ronan would change his mind. "You wish for him to be... Escorted out?"

"How many times should I repeat myself?" Ronan narrowed his eyes. A mere knight was pushing back so much... He truly let go of the reigns, he needed to assert his position soon and in a grand display of power.
