Chapter 109: Pampered With Kisses
"Don’t hold back," Soren murmured, his voice a low, sultry purr. "I want to hear every little sound you make."
Riven shivered again, his hands clinging to Soren’s shoulders as he fought to keep his composure. But it was impossible when Soren’s hands were so tender and knowing, tracing every inch of his ears like they were his favorite toy.
Eventually, Soren pulled back just enough to look at him, a soft smile curving his lips. He lay down beside Riven, pulling him close until they were tangled together, legs entwined. Soren continued to toy with his ears, one hand idly petting through his hair while the other traced soothing circles on his back.
They stayed like that—cuddling, warm and pressed together—while Riven’s eyelids grew heavy. Soren kept stroking his ears, his touch possessive yet gentle, and Riven couldn’t help but let himself sink into the comfort, feeling safe and undeniably cherished in Soren’s embrace.
Morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, painting soft patterns on the bed where Riven lay nestled against Soren’s chest. The warmth from Soren’s body seeped into him, and he felt cocooned in a sense of safety he wasn’t accustomed to. It took him a moment to realize why he couldn’t move—Soren’s arm was draped over his waist, his hand gripping Riven’s tail possessively. Riven squirmed to get out
but that only made Soren tighten his hold and mumble something incoherent into Riven’s hair.
Riven huffed, a bit embarrassed at being caged in so firmly. He gave another subtle wiggle, trying to slip out of Soren’s embrace, but suddenly, Soren’s eyes fluttered open, dark and bleary with sleep. His gaze fixed on Riven with a lazy, satisfied smile tugging at his lips.
"Stop moving," Soren rasped, his voice rough and deeper than usual. He pulled Riven closer, pressing their bodies flush together, his mouth brushing against Riven’s temple. "Stay with me a little longer."
Riven hesitated, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. There was a tenderness to Soren’s words that made his heart skip a beat. Before he could form a response, Soren’s hand slid up his back, gently guiding his chin upward so their eyes met.
