Chapter 105: Sandwich
Ronan cleared his throat loudly, the sound cutting through the tension like a blade. The interruption was pointed and deliberate, and Soren gave him a withering glare. Ronan, however, didn’t back down—he just folded his arms, looking every bit the authoritative Alpha he was.
"Let’s lay down the ground rules, shall we?" Ronan said, his tone firm but not harsh. His gaze remained locked on Soren, as if daring him to challenge his words. "How about no public displays of affection when the other is around?"
Soren’s lips twisted into a smirk, amusement flickering in his eyes. "Hah, you think I can contain myself when my little wolf is right in front of me?"
Riven’s ears perked up at the possessive tone, but before he could say anything, Soren’s hand, which had been resting lightly at the base of Riven’s tail, slid upward in a slow, almost teasing motion.
His fingers traced the curve of Riven’s spine before stopping just under his chin, lifting it gently. Riven’s breath caught, his face warming as Soren’s intense gaze bored into him.
Soren’s voice dropped to a low, almost sultry murmur. "Especially when he looks at me like that... How could I resist?"
Before he could move closer, Ronan was suddenly there, wrapping his arms around Riven from behind. One strong hand was splayed over Riven’s abdomen, while the other snaked up to his throat, holding it gently but possessively. Soren’s eyes darkened as he took in the sight, his grip on Riven’s chin tightening momentarily before he released it.
Riven stiffened, caught between the two men, his pulse racing as Ronan’s hand stroked the side of his neck. He couldn’t deny that being sandwiched between them was making his head spin, and his cheeks flushed a pretty shade of red.
Ronan pressed his lips close to Riven’s ear, his voice a quiet, deep rumble. "You’re not the only one who can’t resist him," he shot back at Soren, his hand tightening just slightly around Riven’s throat. "Don’t act like you own him."
