"I don't want your reward. This scene, I'm not doing it for anyone else but myself. I only ask you, don't touch my pear garden." Banxia tried to stand up, but as soon as she got halfway up, her numbed legs caused her to involuntarily fall towards the man beside her.
Yan Ting quickly reached out to support her, but Banxia still couldn't stand steady, feeling as though her legs were no longer her own, unable to control her actions.
"My legs are numb!" Banxia was really afraid this man would think she was doing it on purpose, so she whispered an explanation.
Yan Ting stayed silent, his deep-set eyes firmly locked onto her swollen, tear-filled eyes. If this was acting, this woman was truly overdoing it.
After a moment, the feeling returned to her legs. Banxia wiped her tears with the back of her hand and tried to break free from the man's grasp.
But the man tightened his grip slightly, causing her to stiffen momentarily. She turned to look at him: "Mr. Huo, I want to go back to my room to rest, so please let me go."
"Who is the man you secretly admire?" His sulky voice suddenly sounded.
Banxia: "..." How did he find out?
"I made it up, needed it for acting!" Banxia replied softly.
