Chapter 226 - 87: Blasphemous Rumors (Part 2)
That night, a large number of Small Sin Nautilus flowed to different areas of the Senluo Sea.
A few days later, as the tales of prison break gradually lost their appeal among the criminals, a story began to circulate in the Senluo Sea—a story about gods and demons.
The plot perfectly matched the taste of the spiritually empty criminals in the Senluo Sea—melodramatic and catchy.
A high and mighty god, a witch as lowly as gravel, the god initially causes chaos and ultimately abandons her, after deceiving her of wealth, charm, money, and everything else, kicking her away after having cleaned her out. The kick not only severely injured the witch but also caused her to lose her unborn child. (Taiwanese novelists, I truly am not copying you.)
Upon hearing this, the female criminals of the Senluo Sea gritted their teeth in rage, wishing to flay and debone that scumbag god.
If the tale had ended there, it would have merely captivated a portion of the female criminals who relished melodrama.
But the story had a second half and did not fall into cliche. In revenge, the witch used her enchanting voice to trade with the devil for an extraordinary Demon Technique (Hans Christian Andersen, I’m honestly not copying you), leading her people to ascend to the Divine Realm, and in a glorious act, castrated the scumbag high-ranking god, producing the first eunuch manager of the Divine Realm.
The gods were enraged; they sent the armies of the Divine Realm to suppress the witch, but to protect her people, the witch laughed thrice atop the Plane Boundary River and cried, "I can’t face the people of Donglin anymore!" and slit her own throat there.
The ending of the story was accompanied by a deeply evocative song from the witch’s dying moments, leaving even the coldest-hearted male criminals tearful upon hearing it.
Soon after, with the release of some prisoners who served lighter sentences, this story and even some of the Small Sin Nautilus that recorded this story were taken out.
