How could they even hide a secret? However, this decision has to be made by the Marshal himself and they will support him.
At this point, the usually straight forward He Li didn’t speak directly which made the family members look at him with a faint surprise and curiosity.
It’s extremely rare to see He Li actually hesitate. It was normal to hide some information especially in the line of their work but the matter also includes their family since they are going to face the old admiral’s family. This is not just about power but also facing someone that the federation trusted.
They support He Li’s decision because he never disappoints them but seeing his hesitation made their interest aroused. What was the truth that actually made He Li feel this? Was that so important that he even hesitated to tell his own family?
The Old Patriarch is actually not that curious. He knew his grandson and respected his privacy but seeing his expression made him indescribably curious. But just as he wanted to press him and question, Hou Nian cleared her throat softly.

Meanwhile, He Zhen also left to speak to some comrades who wanted to contact him about what happened. Even with their power, it’s never bad to find some alliances for this matter.
The other members on his team also left for other matters and only He Li and his mother were left inside the mansion.
