Qin An's practice is progressing for the remaining time today, albeit slowly; but because he was enlightened, he was able to make progress on his expression for the performance. He didn't leave the practice room for a second until his stomach suddenly grumbled in hunger. He stopped his movements and remembered Li Bai's nagging inside his head about his health so he sighs.
He was really not still used. As a grim reaper, they don't need to eat or sleep. They are tireless for normal times except when encountering stronger opponents so they'll take a rest. As for the wounds, it will automatically self heal and as a senior, his wounds heal faster even more. That's why it was really new to him to feel hungry and sleepy so he doesn't bother to care when he feels those. For him, those were as light as a tickle and as fleeting as air that he really won't notice unless someone reminds him.
But now that Li Bai is no longer here, as expected Qin An didn't notice the time and ended up getting hungry. He also felt the sweat on his body and the slight panting making his body feel warmer.
Qin An didn't want to bother himself about what he thought was a trivial matter but he knew he mustn't so he stopped and finally left the practice room.
He walked towards the kitchen and saw several trainees eating and chatting happily. Their smiles halted for a second after seeing him but they went back to what they're doing immediately, treating him completely as invisible.
Yet, the words they started conversing about switched to him. Qin An can hear the malicious whispering from everyone, treating as if he's not in front of them.
"Tch! It's really unlucky. Why did he come out at this time? I don't want to see him."
"Why do you seem so angry at him? I heard he was chosen because he won the votes outside. Everyone voted and it ended fairly."
