Chapter 260: Trapped
Xiao Wu took out a tissue from the dashboard and used it to cover the wound. She hissed at the sting and said, "Madam, please stay calm while I contact security."
Nodding at her words Yan Yuling watched as Xiao Wu called the university’s security guards.
Meanwhile, reporters pounded on the car windows, shouting questions and snapping photos like a swarm of zombies. Some even pulled at the door handles, trying to open the door forcefully, desperate for an exclusive scoop.
Looking at their ferocious faces, Yan Yuling felt scared in her heart. But thinking of Xiao Wu’s words, she took a deep breath and sent a message to her husband.
At Feng Group’s headquarters, Feng Zhexuan was reviewing documents when his phone buzzed. Seeing a message from his wife, he smiled, expecting a sweet note. But as he read the message, his expression darkened with worry.

After he read the message, Feng Zhexuan immediately called his wife.
Yan Yuling picked up on the first ring, and said, "Hello, Husband."
Feng Zhexuan’s grip on the phone tightened at the sound of her trembling voice. He tried to sound as calm as usual when he said, "Wife, don’t be scared. I will come to you right now."
Hearing his reassuring tone, Yan Yuling felt a wave of relief and replied, "Okay. Don’t worry about me. I’m safe inside the car."
